About Me
Hello! I'm Malak Al-Aabiad, a passionate AI Engineer and Data Scientist from Cairo, Egypt. Currently pursuing my studies at the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence at Cairo University (FCAI-CU), I'm on a mission to push the boundaries of what's possible with AI.
My journey in AI is driven by curiosity and a desire to create meaningful impact. I've developed a strong foundation in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision, with practical experience in developing models that solve real-world problems.
As an AI Instructor at MSP Tech Club, I share my knowledge and passion with others, helping to nurture the next generation of AI enthusiasts. My expertise extends to natural language processing (NLP), where I've worked on projects that bridge the gap between human language and machine understanding.
Beyond the classroom, I'm an active participant in the AI community, contributing to platforms like Kaggle where I've achieved Expert status, and solving algorithmic challenges on CodeForces. I believe in the power of AI to transform industries and improve lives, and I'm excited to be part of this rapidly evolving field.

An AI-powered product matching system for pharmaceutical marketplaces that uses Natural Language Processing to extract key attributes like dosage, concentration, and price, handling spelling variations and OCR errors with 90%+ accuracy in name matching.
A deep learning model for facial emotion detection using the FER2013 dataset with 35,887 labeled images spanning seven emotions. Integrated the Wider Face dataset for face detection during preprocessing.
A skin tone classification model that categorizes images into seven skin tone categories using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). Deployed using Flask to create an interactive web application.
A custom chatbot designed to interact in a friendly, conversational manner, answering questions and engaging in real-time dialogue. Built using advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to create a personal virtual assistant.
A program that can encrypt or decrypt messages using ten different ciphers including Affine, Route, Atbash, Vignere, Baconian, Simple Substitution, Polybius Square, Morse, XOR, and Rail-fence.
A collection of Tic-Tac-Toe games with creative variations. Features three gameplay modes: Player vs Player, Player vs Random Computer, and Player vs AI using a decision tree algorithm for intelligent moves.
A rational number calculator capable of taking two rational numbers and performing various operations on them. Handles addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of fractions with proper simplification.
